Founded by professional cellist Ian McClure, Appalachian StringWorks provides live wedding string quartet, string trio, string duet, and cello music in Knoxville, TN and throughout East Tennessee, specializing in elegant ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception performances.

We are inspired by the rich musical heritage of the Appalachian region. We believe music is more than sound — it is connection, emotion, and memory — and we approach every performance with care, artistry, and respect for each client’s vision.
